Penha was founded in 1865 and is still owned by the same family. A company based on tried and tested values such as authenticity and genuineness.
Let’s start with the most important thing, namely where to find the Penha Duty Free branches. There is sure to be at least one of them near you during your stay.
PENHA – FRONTSTREET
Not far from the beach on Great Bay, on the well-known Frontstreet (Voorstraat), you will find perfume, skincare products, cosmetics, spirits and tobacco products. Elegantly presented and very stylishly furnished, this is definitely one of our favorite stores.
Here you can shop duty-free to your heart’s content from Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm.
The store is located in the Philipsburg district at 55 Frontstreet.
PENHA – MAHO
Just a few minutes’ walk from the beautiful Maho Beach, opposite the Casino Royale, the focus of the goods on offer is on well-known perfumes and spirits. Of course, local Caribbean liqueurs are also in the range. Shopping becomes an experience here. Chic and appealing interior in a great setting.
The gates are open for you every day from 9 am to 10 pm. On Sundays, however, they are only open from 1 pm.
You will find the store in the Maho district at Plaza Rhine Road 9/10.
PENHA – COLE BAY
We continue with the Cole Bay district, where the third store is located. Here you will find cosmetics and skincare products, perfumes and a selection of fine spirits. The interior is based on the other stores and is therefore just as elegant as already described.
You can start your shopping here from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm and on Saturdays from 10 am to 7 pm. However, if you want to go shopping on Sundays, you have to choose one of the other stores.

PENHA – PRINCESS JULIANA AIRPORT
Last but not least, a store that you are sure to pass by on your departure at the latest. Of course, you can also shop in the airport building itself, but the focus of the duty-free shopping options here is more on a variety of perfumes. Therefore, we strongly recommend a visit to the previously mentioned branches for all other items.
They are always open except on Sundays (!). From 9 am to 6 pm. So if you’re flying out on Sunday and haven’t done your shopping yet, keep an eye on this …
