Caribbean Tourism Conference with Big Impact

Just a couple weeks ago St. Maarten wrapped up SMART 2025, the leading annual tourism trade convention in the northeast Caribbean. And what an exciting event it was! Held at the beautiful Sonesta Maho Beach Resort, this year’s edition brought together travel professionals, hotel partners, tour operators, airlines, and media representatives. Participants came from more than 25 countries – including the United States, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, and across the Caribbean.

As Magic of the Caribbean, we were proud to attend SMART 2025 as an official media partner. Additionally, SMART isn’t just another tourism event—it’s the rare moment when you get the entire travel industry in one room, at one time. Firstly we reconnected with many longtime colleagues, met new partners, and explored exciting opportunities for the future of travel in St. Maarten and beyond. Basically an oportunity to network with the travel industry on this beautiful island.
