Welcome back to our blog. In this post, we tell you about our day trip to Anguilla. One of the neighboring islands of St. Martin / Sint Maarten can be reached quickly and easily by ferry from Port Marigot.
A day trip into paradise
On board little ferries, you will reach the Blowing Point Ferry Terminal on Anguilla after just 20 minutes and a beautiful journey across the Caribbean Sea. Reason enough to take a closer look at this transfer.
The outward journey from Marigot:
The outward journey costs $30 per person over 12 and $20 for those under 12, plus EUR 5 for taxes. The ferry departs on the hour at 12:00 am, 3:00 pm, and 6:00 and odd hours at 09:30 am, 10:30 am, 1:30 pm, 4:30 pm, and 5:15 pm. The ferry departs daily, so if you didn’t see everything the first time go again.
The return journey from Blowing Point:
The return journey can also be flexible at the same price (11 USD taxes). Departures are daily at 9:00 am (not 8:30 am, as stated on the Internet), 9:30 am and 11:00 am or at 12:30 pm, 2:00 pm, and 3:30 pm as well as 4:30 pm and 5:15 pm. As you can see, these times make it easy to organize a day trip, even for those on a tight schedule. Reservations are therefore not necessary! Many roads lead to Anguilla for lunch
Of course, more alternatives exist, but we will outline some of them here and provide the relevant links. Several of our boat charter partners offer day trips to Anguilla. Check out our MOTCC APP.
From the Anguilla – St. Maarten Ferry Terminal opposite Princess Juliana Airport (SXM), for example, you can book a private charter transfer to Anguilla. However, a reservation is required in advance and will be more expensive than via the ferries leaving from Marigot.
Day Trip to Shared Charter
If you want to experience something special and combine an exciting adventure with a visit to Anguilla, Boomerang Boat Charter is the perfect choice! A special offer allows you to visit some of the most beautiful bays, enjoy a BBQ on the beach, and great snorkeling spots.

By helicopter
The air route is of course even more exclusive. You can take off directly from Princess Juliana Airport with WESTINDIES HELICOPTERS and reach Anguilla in 8 minutes. If you are already on Sint Maarten / Saint Martin, you can also take off from Grand Case (on the French side). All charters must be booked in advance and other destinations can also be reached by helicopter.
You can find the necessary information here:
By airplane
What is possible with a helicopter is also possible with a small airplane with ANGUILLA AIR SERVICES Better known as island hopping, this is certainly the fastest, but not the cheapest, way to explore the surrounding islands during your vacation.
Information on the charter offers of both airlines can be found here:
Stay flexible on-site
Once you are there you want to explore Anguilla in more detail by car? Anguilla has left-hand traffic, which means you drive on the right-hand side of the car. You will also need an international driving license when renting the vehicle. There is also a flat fee for the driving license in Anguilla. For 15 USD you can drive for three days and for 25 USD you can even drive for three months. A rental car costs an average of 40 USD per day. If you like it easy, take one of the taxis waiting in front of the ferry terminal.
To Anguilla for lunch …
But let’s now turn our attention to the actual topic of this article: to Anguilla for lunch – because that’s actually why we came here …We had lunch at the SAVI BEACH CLUB in West End Village and, as always, we were absolutely delighted. The service, the good food and not forgetting the fantastic view of the sea. But see for yourself, because pictures say more than words!
The Beach Club welcomes you for lunch or dinner, with the kitchen open from 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Enjoy the convenience of sun loungers on the beach when you dine for lunch. Make sure to visit—not just for the incredible view! Want more impressions? Then click on the logo:
