During the 39.th Heineken Regatta Angie was interviewed by SAIL magazine:

The tagline for the St. Maarten Heineken Regatta is “serious sailing, serious fun.” However, for the inhabitants of St. Maarten, the event is more than just a festival of great music and some of the best sailing around. Local blogger Angie explains the impact the race had on the community in the wake of the Hurricane Irma in 2017. “It gave us hope,” she says.

As for the 2019 Heineken, which marked the 39th running of the regatta, Angie says the 122 boats taking part enjoyed some of the best sailing conditions ever, with blue skies and steady breezes throughout. Among the boats competing this year were everything from ex-Volvo racers to chartered bare boats with crews coming from no less than 22 different countries.
